It is not an annual rate. So if you bid 2% you are actually getting 4% per annum. I'm not sure if there are any penalties on top of that. I was not there for the whole thing ,(it was over for the day at about 2:30) but for the time I was there most of the liens were selling in the 2% -3% range they were being bought by just a few people (Jumbo, L&L) alot of investors looked pretty frustrated. I kept hearing people say that this is their last time coming and they could do better in cds. Could sombody explain to me why these guys are buying liens at an average of 2% yield?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
